marathon, marathon!

Posted on Oct 7, 2008 # 13 comments.

I think it’s safe to say that my eyes will never be the same again. :blank: Well, not after the seven movie marathon I just had. My friends and I started watching since yesterday afternoon until the early hours of today. Seven movies. Back to back. :ohdotoh:The movies include Shanghai Knights, Stormbreaker and Little Miss Sunshine. My friend, Izzy, fell asleep during Win a Date With Tad Hamilton and I made her promise that she will say, “I’m awake!” every two minutes. But she didn’t. And, you know, besides the fact that we’re lacking sleep and our eyes are dying, it was really fun. :biggrin: My sister kept on attacking my friends and made them yell out for help because they were lacking oxygen. :lmao: My sister also had these inflatable alien toys and we pumped one up and put it into Izzy’s sleeping bag while she went to the toilet and she screeamed when she saw it, thinking it was a body or something. Haha. We woke up the next morning and watched Honey. :upside:

Anyway, we went to the petrol station near my house for some chips and icecream. And while I was paying, the cashier guy decided to have a conversation with me and was like, “So, what are you doing this weekend?” and before I even bothered to answer, he was continuing, “Are you going to the movies? Because if you are, please go watch Wall-E. Oh gosh, it’s the best animation.” And I was standing there, not sure if I should lie and say, “Oh yeah, it’s awesome” or be totally honest and say I haven’t watched it. He was basically promoting the movie and I half expected him to give me a movie coupon or something. So, after that, I made a promise to myself I will never buy anything from there just in case he recognised me and goes, “So did you see Wall-E? Did you? Huh?”

So, I forced, forced myself to update something. Here’s what I managed to do (it’s pretty pathetic if you ask me :lol: )

the world is on fire (;

As much as I love the holidays and getting the house to myself, I feel like I’m gaining 7 kilograms by the second! :lol: I’m constantly eating and then never exercising—just sitting by the TV, in front of the computer or at my study desk. Just then, I took a forty second stroll to my mail box and then back. :blush: That’s my way of exercising. Haha. Anyway, staying all day inside the house, I was totally oblivious to outside. And the moment I opened the door, there was this huge gust of wind that you only get when…something’s on fire. But I reassured myself that nothing was after I checked the weather report and saw that it was normal to be 33 degrees today. :upside: Seriously, I swear if the house across the street lost its roof or something, I would never notice until I saw it on the news or something (;

I’ve actually started doing my school homework and yesterday, between the boring bits of Dan in Real Life (but it was pretty good. Steve Carell’s movies are always entertaining), I started making a list. I make a list for everything—btw, what’s that called? It is just called a list maker? :lmao:—that it’s not funny. (; I also need a design for my Textiles bag and I was thinking to make a fringe bag because this got me inspired. But I have absolutely no idea on how I’m going to make that because I completely suck when it comes to Textiles—sewing, sketching etc.
So yeah, between this and next week, I have to finish my Maths and Commerce revision, my English homework and my sketch of my Textiles bag. And now, I have to do my Algebra, something that makes completely makes no sense to me. :ohdotoh: But I’m getting the hang of it. Step. By. Step. By. Step. :kiss:
